What would you like to know about AAC Guard?

Why AAC Guard?

AAC Guard was developed by AAFC and Mustard 21 for the biofumigation and cover crop market. Growers were looking for a solution for the biofumigant and cover crop market that doesn’t set seed so they could avoid volunteer seed germination from the mustard. Growers were also looking for higher amounts of vegetation so that there was more activity on diseases like verticillium and nematodes.

Glucosinolates

Mustard 21 measured the total vegetative glucosinolates at early bloom of Centennial brown and AAC Guard and as you can see the AAC Guard had a much higher level and again due to the increased biomass.
